Beertopia in the News
"Belgian beers are starting to flow freely in Nebraska"
The big noise in Omaha beer circles is Belgian brews. Beer and ale imported from the tiny country - better known among Americans for chocolates and waffles - are the cool new brews among beer hobbyists and a growing number of casual beer drinkers.
Fans like the strong, untraditional flavors (think brown sugar or plum), the meticulous brewing processes, sometimes by monks, and the specialty glasses used to drink the brews.

New Beers for Valentine's Day
A Big Thank You to the 250 people who turned out for our first Extreme Beerfest. I hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed sampling the beers. We will hold at least one more event like that this year.
Don't forget Bockfest is just around the corner Saturday March 10th (think Oktoberfest in the Spring) Lots of Great Bock Beer, German Food, Live Music and a Fire pit. Yes the day part of the event is outdoors (Noon-6) and then the party continues in the evening. This is an event not to be missed.
Speaking of Bock Beer, tis the season and Beertopia has the largest selection of bock beers in the state. Ranging from Shiner Bock to Kulmbacher Eisbock and everything in between, you owe it to yourself to stop by and check out our selection.

St Brigid's Porter ( a robust Porter)
and Hotshot ESB (Extra Special Bitter)
Stop by and pick some up.
We hope to Have St Bernardus Abt 12 back in stock very soon, maybe as early as Friday night. We will send out an alert if that happens. in the Meantime Max and Joe's our Belgian Bar will be open tonight and Friday serving St Bernardus Abt 12 along with Hoegaarden, Nostradamus and Val Dieu Tripel on tap.

J W Lees Harvest Ale...Vintage English barleywine aged in casks. We have 4 different types: Aged in Port Casks, Sherry Casks, Lagavulin Whisky Casks and Calvados Casks. These beers will age for years.
